Before working in development, Jon began his career at Creative Artists Agency where he worked as a full-time story analyst for four years. Besides running a busy department that evaluated 50+ scripts per week, Jon had a hand in developing a slate of quality projects for the company and delivering detailed notes to writers and executives. Jon broke into management after three years at Broad Green Pictures, a fledgling mini-studio where he helped found a new and innovative Story Department for the 100-employee company. Since then, his clients have gone on to develop film and TV projects with Universal, Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Lionsgate, AMC, Paramount Players, Nickelodeon, Spyglass Media Group, Atlas Entertainment, The Jim Henson Company, and many others. Jon created Housefire Management in 2017 with the intent of finding fresh voices with incendiary material. Prior to joining Netflix, she was Creative Executive of Television and Film at Gloria Sanchez Productions where she was responsible for the development and production of comedy and drama projects. She played a role on such shows as Partner Track, Pieces of Her, Behind Her Eyes and Away. In this role she helped to oversee deals including Marti Noxon and Higher Ground. In this role she is responsible for tracking team projects and grids as well as hearing pitches, taking general meetings and acting as an executive on a vast and rich slate of drama original series in different stages of development.ĭeitch joined Netflix in 2019 focusing on Dramedy and Soap content, when the Original Series team was organized by genre. Lauren Deitch is a Manager for Drama Series Development at Netflix. and Disney Channel, in addition to working with producers such as Fast & Furious filmmaker Justin Lin, and former NBA All-Star Baron Davis. King began his career at New Line Cinema and has spent time as an executive at Warner Bros. Projects he’s overseen include the upcoming Amazon series CROSS, the Netflix original series TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON TRILOGY, season 3 of DISNEY XD ESPN SPORT SCIENCE, the pilots for Disney XD's PARKER PLAYS and POLARIS PRIMETIME, the short film incubator FREE PERIOD for Disney Channel, as well as the independent features IN THE BLOOD and HOUSE BY THE LAKE. He is currently serving as Vice President of Development for Paramount Television Studios overseeing shows at Paramount+, Amazon, Apple and BET. A versatile creative who has worked in live-action, unscripted and animation, both as a network exec and a producer. Gary is a seasoned executive who has overseen development and production across tv, features and short-form digital content for several companies.
